This week sees the 500th Aniversary of Henry VIII’s accession to the throne. Some really cool shows on the History Channel watched to date, but came across this post today sharing online resources recommended by Heineman Video Gallery, around the theme of Henry VIII. My Y3 students produced some really fabulous, flash based autobiographies using 2 Create a story last year. Would be interesting to use 2 create to develop more free flowing textured and layered texts on a similar theme, students developing the idea to look at different aspects of his life, and designing their own navigation structures to reflect this.
